Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Our Commitment

Homes Reimagined Ltd is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards, which define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

As a company whose core purpose is to help people live independently in their own homes, accessibility is not just a technical requirement for us — it is fundamental to who we are.

Measures We Have Taken

To support accessibility, we have implemented the following:

  • Descriptive alt text on all informative images.
  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and background colours.
  • Keyboard-navigable menus and interactive elements.
  • Descriptive link text that clearly indicates the destination.
  • Logical heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) on all pages.
  • ARIA labels on interactive elements without visible text labels.
  • Responsive design that works across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Click-to-call telephone links for users on mobile devices.

Known Limitations

While we aim for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some areas of our website may not yet fully meet all criteria. We are actively working to address these and will update this statement as improvements are made. Known areas under review include:

  • Some older portfolio images may have limited alt text descriptions.
  • Third-party embedded content (e.g., social media feeds) may not fully meet our accessibility standards.
